It held exchanges and seminars covering discipline development, scientific-research practice and further overseas studies, gaining a systematic understanding of the two universities’ educational philosophies, disciplinary structure, research platform development and models for international talent development.
During the visit, the delegation focused on advanced practices of the two universities in interdisciplinary programme setup, collaborative innovation among enterprises, universities and research institutes, and fostering students’ global competence. The delegation also learned how Chinese students adapt to studying at Singaporean universities and collected feedback regarding their academic development. Through in-depth exchanges, delegation members gained firsthand insights into the education systems and academic atmospheres of world-class universities, which will inform their academic planning and broaden their international outlook.
